Bunnygrunt

Bunnygrunt have started their UK tour which takes in Manchester, Birmingham, Cambridge, Nottingham, Sheffield and of course London over the next week. I believe it's their first ever UK tour and will be catching them on Friday night at Monkey Chews where they are being supported by Strawberry Story, Cooties Attack! and The Cut-Outs.

The band have just appeared on the latest Happy Birthday To Me Records compilation and will be releasing a split 7" with Phil Wilson as part of that label's new singles club. They also will be releasing a 3" CD single on Wee Pop. In fact the gig on the 21st at Camden's Monkey Chews will be the single launch.

More on the band can be found at their Wikipedia entry.

About

Are You Scared To Get Happy takes it's name from the Bristol fanzine of the same name that was produced by Matt Haynes who later co-founded Sarah Records.

This little blog is just my tribute to the indie pop scene of years past and I hope you enjoy it. This blog is created in the spirit of my original indie-mp3 site which existed between 2002 - 2005 and is now a fully fledged music review site.

I endeavour to update it on a weekly basis with tracks posted by me being available for a limited period. Feel free to leave comments or contact me. If posting a track offends get in touch and I will take it down.
